Oxland Group Completes $25 Million Two Step Boulevard Project, Expanding Connectivity in Montgomery County
Major infrastructure investment improves access for residents, first responders, schools, and commuters while supporting future growth in the area.
MONTGOMERY, TX, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Oxland Group, a Houston-based residential development company, recently marked a major infrastructure milestone in Montgomery County with the opening of Two Step Boulevard, connecting the Two Step Farm master-planned community to Fish Creek Thoroughfare. The approximately $25 million project spans 1.75 miles, includes three bridges, and nearly two miles of off-site roadway improvements. The project was completed in conjunction with Montgomery County to create easier access to The Woodlands, Magnolia, and Conroe for employment, entertainment, shopping, schools, hospitals, and living.
“This new road has been an important part of our long-term vision that is helping improve the welfare of residents at Two Step Farm and throughout Montgomery County,” says Tom Woliver, co-president and founder of Oxland Group. “Now it is easier for everyone to get where they need to go while creating a more welcoming front door to the community. We’re proud to have brought this project to fruition, and we look forward to seeing its benefits for Montgomery County for generations to come.”
The project offers an important flood mitigation benefit, with the bridges providing access above the 100-year floodplain to Two Step Farm and adjacent properties. Improvements at the intersection of Honea Egypt Road and Two Step Boulevard will further support safety and connectivity. The intersection is currently designed with stop signs on Two Step Boulevard, with Oxland and its engineers evaluating a potential four-way stop.
The bridges were funded by Montgomery County MUD 123. Montgomery County Commissioner Charlie Riley emphasized the project’s impact on transportation and emergency response. “With the completion of this new east-west connection, Montgomery County has gained critical access to make it safer and more convenient for residents, commuters, schoolchildren, and first responders to travel throughout the area,” says Riley.
Two Step Boulevard will also serve as the primary access point to a future Montgomery County park. Located north of FM 1488 between I-45 and the Aggie Expressway (TX-249), Two Step Farm blends small-town charm with modern living across more than 1,800 acres. At full buildout, the community is expected to deliver over 4,000 homes. For more information, visit www.TwoStepFarm.com.
